Frequently asked questions
How should I proceed if I want to start to cooperate with your agency?
You can contact us either by telephone or e-mail using the contact information in Contacts section or fill out the query form at www.syn.cz. Your request will be submitted by our reception to a consultant/team, which deals with the given sector.
A Synergie Consultant will then contact you and set up a personal meeting in order to gain a good understanding of your business, the open position, and the context of the recruitment. Our Consultant will advise you about the best possible search method to use to find the most suitable candidates for a particular position.
How will the mutual cooperation occur?
After you sign the cooperation contract and define the open position, we immediately start to look for suitable candidates. We advertise the position (using various employment portals), we address candidates from our extensive database and from our vast network of contacts built over the last 17 years. We then invite potential candidates for a face to face interview. We then present you with a shortlist of the most suitable candidates; their structured CV and a detailed evaluation report for each candidate presented.,
Upon request, we can also provide professional references about the candidates.
How long does a standard search for a determined position take?
A standard search for one position takes between 4-6 weeks. This time interval includes creation of an advertisement, communication with the candidates, interviews with the candidates in our agency and a subsequent generation of reports, 1-3 rounds of interviews.
Who bears the advertisement costs?
The advertisements on www.syn.cz and selected web portals is already paid for by Synergie. If a client wishes to place Ads in selected periodicals or specialized servers, we are able to prepare a teaser Advert as well as its graphic design and arrange the publishing in selected print media. These specific advertisement fees are covered by the client.
Which information should the Synergie consultant know before starting a search?
The more the Synergie Consultant knows about the needs and expectations related to the position, the better it is to process a successful search. In any case the Synergie Consultant should know at least the following information:
- The main work responsibilities
- The requested profile:
- experience
- competence/knowledge
- personal characteristics
- salary range, additional benefits or bonuses
- place of employment or travel requirements
- structure of department, direct superior, number of subordinates
- reason for the position opening
Is it necessary to state salary terms/bonuses/benefits?
We definitely need to know the salary range for the seeked position so that we can pre-select the most suitable candidates. We have to be able to judge whether the given candidate is suitable for the position in connection with its current salary and expectations. We do not disclose any information about the salary range to the candidates, it is only used as a guideline.
How does the first interview with the consultant occur?
Each Synergie consultant is specialised in a specific sector where he/she has relevant experience and/or education. Therefore the Consultant is able to understand and evaluate in a professional way the relevant experience of the interviewed candidate.
Synergie consultants use:
- structured form of interview (we ask about the job experience with specific employers, team structure, direct superior and the reason for leaving the employer)
- behavioral method (we ask about solutions and behavior in specific working situations with the aim to verify the candidate´s competences for the given position)
- queries about motivation and values of the candidate
A professional evaluation report is prepared after the interview.
Can I conclude a long-term cooperation agreement with the agency (all-year help with staffing)?
The length of cooperation is set in a contract. As a standard, this is indefinite, but it may be concluded also only for a single position or for one year only.
