Náplň práce

  • Support new hire onboarding process by provisioning necessary Windows & Macs laptop, telephone, Active Directory, email access, VPN access
  • Office 365 administration – mailbox and user management
  • Active Directory administration
  • Support contact for hosted VoIP phone system
  • Monitor VPN security and access
  • Server administration – ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance for internal Windows servers. (Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012)
  • Deploy new Windows Servers as necessary
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis
  • Monitor system-generated alerts and respond appropriately
  • Troubleshoot system issues and work with IT resources to resolve in a timely manner
  • Work with the IT group to support the company’s phone system, peripherals, and audio/visual equipment (LifeSize, BlueJeans and GoToMeeting).

Požadavky na kandidáta

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
  • Experience working in a Helpdesk or internal IT Support environment
  • Must be able to work on an on-call basis with the understanding that he/she may be called for support 24 x 7
  • Administration of Microsoft Networks, servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Server Administration and Active Directory Administration, Office 365
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills with various technologies (email, VOIP phones, Microsoft Office tools, VPN, laptop hardware)
  • Understanding of network infrastructure, firewalls, switches, and routers
  • Hands on with enterprise device management tools (like LabTech, Sophos, Office 365)
  • Great communication skills
  • Proficient English - daily use
  • Willingness to learn and improve
